MICHELLE HYDE is the Director of HD Writing and Educational Services.
BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES Michelle has over 20 years experience in teaching (undergraduate and postgraduate) and research as a senior academic in the University system. She has won a number of prestigious teaching awards. Michelle has an undergraduate degree in Agricutural Science, a PhD from the Faculty of Veterinary Science and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies (Higher Education) from the University of Sydney. Michelle also holds a Diploma of Book Editing and Publishing and is a member of numerous professional bodies including the Australian College of Educators, The NSW Society of Editors, The Professional Editors Association and The Australian Society of Authors.
CREATIVE WRITING Michelle also has skills and experience in the creative writing area, having completed numerous short courses and having won a number of awards for fiction writing. Michelle has organised numerous highly successful writing weekends and day courses and facilitates and teaches writers groups on a regular basis.
Following on from the phenomenal success of the Winter Writing Weekend, The SPRING Writing Weekend was held at Little Forest Country Cottages, Alpine in September. Three writing weekends are planned for 2010.
