Come and join us for a weekend of creative writing, good food and good company. Award winning writer and teacher Pippa Kay will lead participants in the art and craft of creative writing.

Glorious self contained accomodation available and day participants also warmly welcomed.

Childcare can be arranged for residential participants.

This stimulating and inspiring weekend workshop is aimed at the beginner and intermediate levle writer - or those feeling a bit rusty. We all work at our own pace and everyone at every stage is welcome.

In three extended sessions (Saturday morning and afternoon and Sunday morning) participants will explore the short story with an emphasis on fiction, but non fiction stories will also be covered. We will also discuss other writing projects such as the novel, and work on writing techniques to improve clarity and style.

Using guided activities and exercises each participant should go home with at least the beginnings of thoer own short story. More experienced writers will be encouraged to do even more!

The atmosphere is stimulating, encouraging, productive and very friendly.
